I wanted to write about it before Christmas, but I was hoping I would put my hands on the video report before that. Yup, hoping. It got wiped off the face of the earth. x_x”

So, like I said in my teaser, the company I work at, along with Restaurant & Club Versalka, organised a Fashion Show (12/12/2009).

The show was focused on Carnival. The brands which took part in it were: Taranko, Esotiq, Eidos Fashion and also a young polish fashion designer Maciej Domański, who created few dresses just for this occasion. Beutiful jewellery was made made by Athra and bags by Kemer.

My favourite collection was deffinitely the one by Maciej Domański and I love Athra’s jewellery. Esotiq didn’t show anything remarkable, but their collections are always decent. I don’t like Kemer, but the bags chosen for the show weren’t all that bad, it could have been worse. Taranko is directed to older clientele and Eidos Fashion is… well, let’s say it’s not really my style.

All companies founded prizes for those who bought tickets (not only was the staff excluded, but also the VIPs): two sets of Svarovsky jewellery, photoshoots in MaxStudio, bags (*sigh*) and discounts for clothes and underwear.

Additionally, there was a hairstyle show (Anna Wojciechowska and Maciej Kubuj), where yours truly was a model ;D.

And now a few more photos from the show. The first 7 are Maciej Domański’s dresses.

You know what’s interesting? Just few years ago I wouldn’t do it even if I had a chance. I used to be so shy and full of complexes that just a thought of it would have killed me. And now? I enjoyed it. I really did. And I was oh so proud of myself that I didn’t break my legs in my 10cm high heels XD. Even my too big corset couldn’t destroy the moment X3.

There are moments when I look at myself and I just can’t believe who I’ve become. And it’s a good thing. I guess it’s the best benefit from my work: working at advertising agency which organizes such events every once in a while and you are FORCED to join them, it really helps you biuld your self-esteem. I wasn’t so self-concious even when I worked in a shop and I talked to stragners on daily basis. It’s not the same. When you are surrounded by beauty (all those models o_o) and you hear from your co-workers that hey, you do match here, you are just as pretty, yup it’s really nice. Even though I might not believe all of this in 100%, it still is a very good thing.

I guess, I won’t change this job as long as possible. It’s been year and a half already and so many things have changed. I certainly look forward to see what else is going to happen :).

And I can’t wait for the second Fashion Show! Probably 12/02/2010. With male models as well ;D.

Ha, see? I told you that you’re not that bad ;) You’re pretty (pictures #09 and #10 simply rock ;D), funny (well, rare thing actually, but the fact is, it happens ;P), have a great job, could it be any better? ;P I need to catch up a dose of optimism, since I haven’t had so much to do like now in my whole life (9 exams during 3 days? Lecturers have quite strange sense of humour ;P) >>. Have a great week ;D

ps. Ciekawe jak mocno dostanie mi sie za to pierwsze “pretty” od swojej drugiej 0.5 >> Najwyzej pozniej bedziesz miec ode mnie namiary na jakiegos dobrego dentyste/ortopede ;) Cheers!

Wow.
That’s amazing. I’d like to experience something like that as well, but I don’t have the guts and grace to pull it off.

A lot of people are actually saying that I’m such a waste since I can be a model (I have the height and the slim figure), but acts like a boy.

Just curious, how did you join on with modeling with your company, did you volunteer =p, or persuaded? Is your company related with clothes and stuff?

And yeah, you were just as pretty as the other models. I would certainly think that you’re one of them if I don’t know you =p

I work at advertising agency. We make photoshoots for various companies eg. Versalka, that’s how we got the place. The show was my boss’ idea, a way to promote our company.

Volunteer vs. persuaded? Hard to say. A while ago I had rather long hair and I wanted to change it. When our hairdresser, Anna, heard that she’s supposed to take part in this show she thought of me as her model. Since I really wanted to do something with myself, I agreed. I really thought that we will sit on the stage and that’s all. When I saw how small the catwalk was… Holly crap. There was no way to sit somewhere where all people would see us. And that’s how I learned, on a day of the show, that I will be supposed to walk on the catwalk x_x”.

Ooooh pretty pretty! <3 Love the hair. Work that catwalk girl ;) I remember the hair show at the recent goth festival here and thought the styles were pretty awesome. I envy you models for having your hair done for free heheheheh XD

Too bad about being excluded in the prizes though. Some of them sound great :(

First: Sorry for my english :D
Second: Tthis design is nice for eyes, but photo where you are smiling to camera and you have not composed hair is the best. It’s so natural and I see, exit from you full energy. This is just nice.

All stored on my hard-drive, I hope you don’t mind. :P You look spectacular on those photos.Looking at them strangely hypes my spirits up and reminds me how lucky I am. :P Something still surprises me… Why are you so afraid of public, or maybe it doesn’t I somewhat understand… :P
