Man, it’s been a while. The best thing is that I really have quite a few things to write about. Cooking, music festivals, creations, travels… not to mention my Beloved One, but he will be featured in most of those topics, so be prepared :P.
I just don’t have time to physically sit and write it all down. At the moment I have like four drafts and I can’t finish any of it. *sigh*

Twitter

Yup, I can has a Twitter ;). I’m not quite sure if I’m going to write something there, though. As for now I use it only to follow others, designers or design-oriented websites, mostly. It’s really great for this purpose, you get a lot of useful information in one place.
I guess I like the idea of miniblog. And it will come in handy when RT is up (‘coz it will be up, someday >_>), it seems like a good way to keep people informed whether any of my sites has been updated. Espacially since it happens once in a very long while :P.

Lazuri, again

Since she is my favourite OC so far (and the only one which has been shown to anyone ;)) I decided to use her once again. This upcoming piece will probably be used for Radioactive Toy’s main theme. If the outcome will be satisfying, that is. Not much done so far, but I’ll let you take a look :).

I know, I know, her hand sucks. I didn’t pay any attention to it, it’s more like “Hi, I’m Zooey’s hand and I’ll be placed here” XD.
I’m quite happy with her other than that.

Introducing: Shiriel

Yey, my second OC in progress! Lazuri will always be my favourite, but I didn’t want to exploit her too much. So here’s my second girl, Shiriel. I came up with this name when I needed one for my World of Warcraft account (yeah… XD), but I don’t play anymore and I still like the name. It doesn’t have any meaning, it’s just a mix of Shi, japanese for death, since she was supposed to be fighting type of character and Ariel which I really like as a name.
This is just a conceptual sketch.The only thing that -stays- is her face shape. The rest is a simply concept of colouring, because the first thing I came up with when started creating this character was colour-scheme ;).
And I really can’t decide if I want her hair to be curly or straight… or what.

I guess I’m into profiles and half-profiles lately >_>.

A while ago a posted some WIPs of a vector of my OC Lazuri. So here she is, finally done.

As you can see her eyes have a different colour now. This shade of blue matches her perfectly and I didn’t want her to be mistaken with some sorry excuse for a vampire :P (Twilight Saga, anyone?). She does not sparkle, even though she’s a pirokinethic. So yeah, I will stick to this colour.

So, here’s the wallpaper featuring Zooey and done entirely in Illustrator. It’s also my little tribute to “Twin Peaks”. How? The quote (and this post’s title) has been taken from it. I must admit that it’s weird series, but I’ve seen both seasons and I love it.

But back to subject, the wallpaper:

I used this wallpaper as my project for Multimedia Software. I hope I pass >_>. My sourse file is a bit messy and has only one layer… mainly because Zooey has been created as a separate file, then grouped and put in the background file.

Side note: I’m messing around with this place quite a lot. I keep changing both sidebars, I changed the names of Pages and placed Archives as a separate Page as well.
I guess I’ll keep using 3 coloums themes forever, simply because there’s a lot of stuff there and I really love the way Vi.net looks right now <3.

The second term (or fourth, depending on how you count them…) started and it’s hard. There’s this thing called Econometrics. Mathematics, statistics, economics and probability in one. *dies* My brain simply turns into water every Tuesday.
Fortunately, I’m at school three times a week and once a month Mondays are free~!
Unfortunately, on every “free” day I’m supposed to be at work. Including weekends, sometimes. Well, my boss thinks that I should spent every afternoon working.
I wonder for how long I’ll be working here… Since I got my promotion I’m being lectured 3 times per day just because. But well, that’s a subject for separate entry.

When it comes to entries, I have some things written and saved at home (since I no longer trust in WordPress’ drafts), but I just don’t have time to sit and finish anything or make it sound decent.
Ha ha, I bet everyone would love my MUSE review (which got deleted dammmmmmmmmmit!) if the actual review part consisted of “I love it you must listen to it it’s awesome omg I love muse <3333″, right? XD So yeah, I deffinitely shall rephrase few things there ;D.

Besides I opened RT which has been even more dead than this place, but I’ve been working on something, actually. Vector of my OC Lazuri (done in Illustrator~ and yes, it is spelled with “R”).

There are two more things which kept me busy for the last few weeks: books and video games.

As for the books, there’s a Polish writer Jacek Piekara. He wrote quite a few short stories (five books so far, 400+ pages each) about Holy Inquisition, or rather one of the inquisitors: Mordimer Madderdin. The thing is that the world Piekara created is a bit different than ours. It is a world where Jesus Christ didn’t die on the cross, but He descended it and, with the help of apostles, cold-bloodedly murdered half of Jerusalem (in Polish this ‘cold-bloodedly’ part was said more pointedly, but I couldn’t find it in any of my dictionaries).
I didn’t really want to even start reading it since I’m an atheist and this whole religious crap just doesn’t work for me, but I gave it a chance. And now I love it. I don’t know if there’s a point in writing anything else about it here, because most of you won’t read it anyway.
It just kept me busy for quite some time. I really have been reading a lot lately. Piekara is just my latest obsession.

Now video games, or a game I should say. Heroes of Might and Magic III. It’s old, I know. I haven’t played it in quite a while and I’ve already forgot how playable it is. It’s all my sister’s fault! One day she asked me if I wouldn’t play with her as an ally. I agreed. Since that day I must finish at least one map per day x_x”. Still, it’s better than my Dungeon Siege obsession. I have been playing it for… four months? Day by day. Few hours per day.

Anyway, now you see that I had better things to do than blogging ;) (yeah, especially the last paragraph).
Ok, I shall end by now, it’s time to at least pretend I’m actually working ^-^.
